Oh, what's wrong?

This will be my first experience of seeing circuit racing in the UK.

We are coming over to the UK to see what it is all about........

I had been thinking of running in the series.

To be fair, I don't recall getting any timetables this bad from the BARC, in recent years. At least, if you are testing on Friday, you do have something to do on Saturday rather than having to go to Cromar for the day as I did once about 10 years ago.

The main worry is Sunday, when we have to sit around all day with a race at the end of the afternoon.. To be honest it doesn't worry us as we will go off to the hotel straight after the race on Saturday evening and use the time on Sunday to prepare the cars for the last race.
The guy who has pulled his entry has a problem of his own in that he lives 100's of miles away and needs to get home to get up for work in the morning, so we all sympathize with his plight. It's only 3 hours home for the truck for us and about 10 minutes for Ian the way he drives.

I don't see the quali sat and race sunday to be an issue. If there's down time, perhaps there's a really good spectator event somwhere close that might fill in the time. Anyone got any ideas? Wow, hold on, I hear there's really great racing to watch as the HSCC have a meeting somewhere close. Or have I got the wrong end of the stick?

It all depends where you live, if you are just a hundred or so from home it's no problem, but close to 400 and then needing to get up for work the following day does affect your view on it all somewhat.

We are travelling up from Guernsey.

Currently we have traveled to Jersey to then travel up the the UK. 8 Pm Thursday night!

So, a 11 hour ferry sea crossing and then a four hour drive up from Portsmouth.

I'm glad we are just watching and not yet running a car!
